Shhh… Breath, Whisper & Voice

Shhh… is a Kontakt library and a sample pack based entirely on human voice, breaths, whistling, sighs and whispers.

We focused on capturing the most natural, detailed and intimate sound so we can bring all its imperfection and reveal its beauty. Close mic recording, unobvious vocals and natural articulations – it all resulted in truly organic instrument.

Shhh… is an instrument perfect as a toolkit for cinematic music composers and music producers. It covers a wide range of genres and emotions: from film, video game and media/TV soundtracks to radio songs featuring organic human samples. From fantasy, ambient, documentary through thriller, horror to urban and post-modern close-intimate sound.

What’s included

In short: there are menus full of organic samples and playable patches which allow you to play melodies, harmonies, bass, textures etc.

We grouped our sounds into categories so you can find easily the tone you’re looking for. There is a whole bunch of beautiful and spatial pads, unique subtle leads, organic atmospheres and textures, cool basses, keys and surprising FX. Inside our Creative Menus, you will find a whole range of breaths, sighs, whispers and benders, as well as experimental sounds, weird noises and percussive sounds. You can play them individually or use some inspiring textures we prepared for you. This is a great collection ready to use in your music or sound design. We encourage you to be creative with these!

And something special: check out the One-Singer-Ensembles category. It was created from a single male or female singer who built an entire vocal ensemble, performing tonal or barely tonal textures. In other words, when you hit one key, you can often hear a whole ensemble singing and whispering long, evolving tonal parts. It wasn’t a typical way of sampling – it’s a creative process which as a result gave an inspiring sonic palette.

Easy-to-use interface

Intuitive and simple interface makes this library very easy to use. You can control the attack and release, as well as frequency filters and reverb character. Every parameter can be automated inside of your DAW which makes Shhh… a very comfortable instrument to work with. A true stereo knob (different samples on right and left channel), speed control and some hidden features under the modwheel – all of this can be found inside of our library. You decide what tone fits your music best.

And remember – even when you hear the keys or chirping birds it’s made in 100% from human voice!

You can also use it directly in your DAW without any additional software (no Kontakt needed).

We have prepared a convienient sample pack with selected 494 WAVE files. They are ready to use, compressed and processed, some of them already with a reverb (raw source no-reverb files are in the Kontakt folders). Keep in mind that the sample pack doesn’t allow you to play tonal melodies or harmonies (that’s what Kontakt does). The structure of the sample pack:
